The AJE Group buys Vida, Don Isaac Kola and Perú Cola brands

Don Jorge Bottling Plant commented to this newspaper that the next and last step will be the sale of the plant, marking its exit from the beverage market.

At the beginning of May, Don Jorge Bottling Plant announced the end of the distribution of its products. Thus, the sale of its production assets and/or brands was anticipated.

The Aje Group confirmed to Gestión the acquisition of the Vida, Don Isaac Kola and Perú Cola water and soft drink brands from the company known as Grupo Perú Cola.

Meanwhile, Don Jorge Bottling Plant commented to this newspaper that the next and last step will be the sale of the plant, marking its exit from the beverage market. “Due to multiple problems, our company will close its doors,” he concluded.

Now, the family that was behind the company will concentrate on the chocolate business, where they participate with the Helena brand. Aje’s operation in Peru represents 35% of the group’s sales and Ebitda. It also has businesses in Mexico, Venezuela, Thailand and Indonesia.
